Absolutely wonderful stay, peace and quiet in a beautiful woodland.
Really impressed will return again.

Disliked absolutely nothing, would definitely recommend.

Vast amounts of woodland and plenty of space to camp. Other campers very respectful of the space too. Adults just minding their own business and enjoying the quiet without screaming children everywhere. Lots of bird song and a chorus of owls at night.

Bit pricey considering the simplicity of the site, but understand the cost goes towards the maintenance of the woodland.

The campsite is so clean and looked after. Very good night stay here

I love the way they treat the land. Its all about being alone with nature. Its very secluded and plenty of places to walk near by. They were so friendly and helpful. I will very likely be going back.

Not the tidiest woodland but that's expected as it's a working woodland

Absolutely amazing experience being in amongst nature. We heard so many birds during the day and owls at night. On our last day we saw a full heard of deer. Thanks to Michael for a great stay

Lovely natural pitch , great wildlife and very peaceful.
Staff on site (Michael) very helpful and friendly.
a very secluded site near derring woods.
Very important to email or contact site before arrival to arrange a meet a greet. Please let Staff know arrival and departure times so they can unlock access gate for you.

Entrance is black gate with circular saw blade welded on to it. left hand side of main road.

- huge space in the forest to camp in, giving you privacy, peace and wild-camping feeling
- logs, fire starter kit and water provided at additional cost if needed
- there is also a conventional loo available
- owner was very friendly and provided us with organic eggs and BBQ grill to cook on
- would highly recommend for a weekend break

- nothing with the campsite, it was raining when I went that's all
- no phone network in the area (this was expected though)
