Toilet and shower block could do with a revamp

The customer service was outstanding and the 2 men that helped me was brill nothing was too much trouble

Although on last day my trailer tent and windbreaker got covered in human poo from drain being clean they were quick to clean it for me and apologies

Willows field we stayed on had good space for kids to play and close to toilet block. Location of park is great within walking distance to everything needed. We were close to the park and never had an issue with noise late in the evening, everything seemed to clam and quieten down relatively early.

Pitch was a little uneven, luckily we had a trailer tent so we could adjust the legs, if we had been in a normal ten it might have been a it more difficult. Toilets never seemed to have any toilet paper in the evening/night and the electric points were a little out the way having to stretch our wire around the back of our neighbours tent the sockets only just reached the inside of the tent it was that far off.

Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful!

Map didn't mention showers , and not always a table in the bar but it was high season!

Friendly and helpful staff, especially Steve. Size of the pitches are good. Good electrics at 16amp. Site was maintained as well by staff.
Didnt try the restaurant so cant comment.

The shower and toilet block served 1 large tent pitch holding 20-25 tents and another pitch holding around maybe 10+ touring caravans. There was never any toilet paper and the toilets were always being messed up even though they were cleaned 3 times a day. The showers wouldnt stay on longer than 3 secs after each button push.
This type of campsite is fine if you have kids and dont mind noisy people who dont care how loud they are. The amount of ignorant campers who didnt tidy up their mess at the sinks or toilets was terrible.
And damm those seagulls at 4am.
Defo not a campsite for me but this is just my opinion as a 54 year man.

The facilities in the main complex are great (club house, pool, kids park, arcade).
The site is really close to the beach, and also close enough to the town centre to walk. Good access for prams etc when walking into town.

The indoor pool was always fully booked so we couldn’t book on.
The shower block on ‘the willows’ tent field could do with some updating.

Very clean tidy site. Great pitch next to the hedge row.

Lack of toilet rolls in toilet block. Either shortage or people hoarding.

The area was nice and easy to access the town and shops

The toilet and shower blocks weren’t the cleanest , our pitch was very uneven. The entertainment facilities were nowhere near big enough to accommodate the amount of people staying at the site, if you weren’t at the show at least 2 hours before you weren’t getting a seat! We could never get into swimming ended up paying to swim in the town.
