Staff very helpful and placed caravan onto the pitch for you.very peaceful site .

Nothing really to dislike.apart from you are quite crammed in not alot of wiggle room.

EVERYTHING!!! This is the second stay at this site. Absolutely love it so quiet and peaceful. Love the fact the radio is on in the bathroom can rock out whilst showering.

Clean facilities, Flat pitch, Staff couldnt of been more friendly and helpful. Site is next to a train station so you do not need to drive everywhere. Pub just over the train bridge. Quiet site.

Showers could of been more powerful

Very noisy site, train tracks running right next to site, and they have a storage facility on site, and the customers are coming in the middle of the night to collect their vehicles.

Our first time at Whitemead and wasn't disappointed. Plenty of room for our 5mx3m tent and our car on a grass pitch with electrics. Although the site was busy due to the tank fest it didn't seem too over crowded and wasn't noisy. The toilets and showers were always clean (ladies) and boasted a disabled cubicle and shower. I was impressed by the space in the showers which included a bench seat, 2 hooks and a large mirror. There is an electric socket in the Ladies at the side of a large mirror and a hair drier but this is coin operated. Music plays 24 hours in the block making it not seem spooky when having to use the facilities in the middle of the night. Lovely pot and clothes washing area. The site itself is well lit on the pathways and around the toilet block. There is a shop and games room although I didn't use either. There are garbage bins and water taps in each camping area which are screened and emptied on a regular basis before they get full. Overall I was most impressed with the way the staff were always visible maintaining the look and cleanliness of the site. We will return.

Although we had an electric cool box, we normally camp with a non electric cool box and rely on freezer packs. I never asked at the shop/reception if they had a facility for refreezing them but there weren't any communal freezers that I could see on site. I have been to sites where these are provided and they are a godsend in hot weather and if camping for several days with no electrics.

We were travelling as a family with a 4yr old and 9yr old and had the best camping holiday at Whitemead - the site was superb, and felt very safe for the children. Spacious pitches, quiet at night, clean facilties, friendly staff and great location. Topped off by the glorious sunshine and stunning sights that Dorset had to offer! We couldnt have asked for anything more and will definitely be back.

Beautiful well kept site. The showers and the toilets were spotless. Nice to have music playing in the shower and toilet area.
Well kept shop. Felt very welcomed by Roy, Jill and Holly. Will definately come here again. Excellant.
