What can we say.....a fantastic site for our first full week away in our caravan!
From the friendly staff helping us onto pitch when we first turned up, to having a little shop that stocked all amenities that you may run out off or have forgotten.
The site facilities (shower/toilet block) was clean, spacious and a lovely touch playing the radio in there.
Its a great base to explore the surrounding areas.
The sound of the train wasn't an issue and we loved hearing the tanks driving around the area!
The site has a keypad protected entry/exit which was lovely to know only veichles that should be there can get in/out, lovely added security.
All staff were friendly and helpful, and always present during the working hours, no issue was too big.
It was a lovely first full trip for us as a family and will not hesitate to book again!

Whitemead is a brilliantly run place - staff brilliant very helpful when we arrived. Facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained, a useful little shop on site and security was good -well thought out. couldn’t fault this place.

If only they could arrange weather like they arrange their site!!!🤣🤣

Family friendly, very clean facilities. Excellent play park for kids. Good location for beaches etc.

A very clean site, toilets and showers so clean the Virgin Mary herself would have been proud to have used them. Great location to get to all the key Dorset attractions. Well stocked camp shop including ice, beer and wine. The Ship Inn is 2 minutes away and does a great Sunday roast. Pitch size was generous and playground was great for children. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

As others have said, it’s really noisy from the local environment, tanks, police cars, trains. Night time is not great for light sleepers. Also it lacks a view, which if you are using the site as a base for travelling is less of an issue, but if you want to chill out and look out on the local countryside it lacks due to hedging and layout. Finally not being able to use firepits especially when camping meant that you are more likely to retire earlier and takes a little bit of the joy out of camping. Small gripes for what is a very well run site.

All facilities such as toilet, shower, washing up and game room etc are really really clean, the best campimg site I have ever been.

Arrived at Whitemead and was met by a lovely gentlemen called Graham. He opened the gates which gives you security if you have small children, spotlessly clean camping site.Toilets and showers very clean also,there's a small Games room, Pool table and football table and plenty of board games for them rainy days and Oh boy did we get lots but we still enjoyed Whitemeade. Wool was lovely we had our bikes and therefore plenty of cycle routes and make sure you go to Wareham forest miles of tracks to ride and walk the scenery was outstanding. Train station on doorstep noise from train never disturbed are sleep, very quiet but do take a ride on one we took a trip to Bournemouth the train was very smooth and was spotlessly clean.

Only small dislike was the shower button could do with staying on longer, was hard to wash and having to press the button every 10 to 15 seconds.

The grounds were very clean host meets you at the gate and takes you to your pitch much easier as you know the maps some sites give are so big and hard to find he was very helpful with all information like telling the kids the way to the park and games room shower blocks shop ect he also informed us of local shops chemist butchers ect all face to face not a leaflet very welcoming and will def stay again thank you

Extremely friendly greeting where we were told all about the site, how to set up etc. the site was very clean and tidy with staff constantly busy ensuring everything was pristine. Large hard standing pitch with water and waste disposal close by. All facilities were immaculate. The showers were hot and just powerful enough. A small shop supplies the necessities. The site is close to the train and bus stations (5 minute walk) with excellent links to the surrounding area. There is also a couple of small shops and pubs within east walking distance. We will definitely be going back to Whitemead.

Our second stay here, very friendly, clean and tidy site. We’ll definitely be going back
