Quiet site with a beautiful view across the countryside and Wales from the campsite. Lovely clean facilities and a homely cafe.

It is a long walk downhill to the toilets and facilities and then a long trudge back. Perfectly fine for fit people but would be a problem with little children if they kept needing the toilet. No good for someone with physical disabilities. Obviously you could drive up and down but the carpark got very very busy with fishermen/ladies. Again take care with young children as lots of cars passing the campsite to go down to the lake and fish.

The camping site was very friendly and clean the owners were very helpful and the fishing pools were nice very pleased with the place

This is a lovely, clean and friendly site - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fab location, quiet, friendly owners/staff and fellow visitors. The huts we stayed in were lovely and clean, very socialable set up for us as a bigger family where we were still able to enjoy privacy from the wider site. Beautiful location, lakes, animals, etc - our kids aged from 7-18 years including two with additional needs all absolutely loved it. We felt very safe here, loved how clean the facilities were and will be back.

Lovely welcoming staff, well kept campsite. Didn’t catch a fish but lovely maintained pools.
Perfect place for my first time camping. Great service. Really good place for kids as they have alpacas on site and sell food in the shop to feed them.
