The location is brilliant – with pubs practically on-site and just a short 5-minute walk to the beach, it really couldn’t be better. The hosts were fantastic, greeting us with a warm welcome and even checking in on the tents during windy weather to make sure everything was holding up.
Unfortunately, the great British weather got the better of us and we had to cut our trip short by a couple of days due to the relentless high winds. At one point, the wind even broke our tent awning, but the lovely owner came to our rescue with a spare he had on hand – now that’s hospitality above and beyond!
Despite the weather forcing us home early, we genuinely loved the campsite and would have happily stayed the full week if conditions had allowed. We’ll definitely be back – highly recommended!

Hi Keith,
Thanks for taking the time to give us a review. Just have to correct you on the shower/toilet situation. You are obviously just talking about the male block ,there is another 6 showers and 6 toilets in the ladies as well as a disabled shower/toilet plus 5 outside hot showers too. We comply with campsite regulations for numbers of toilets/showers/pitch according to our license.
Water taps are dotted around the site and number 12.
