The view!! It was so wonderful to wake up each day to the sea out of our campervan windows. We loved being up on the hill. In a non electric spot, and just soaking it all in. Although the site was fully booked when we arrived it didnt feel cramped or too busy at all. The new facilities were great and there was a lovely lady in there cleaning almost every time we went in. We loved the option for the fridge freezer and the fun of finding things in the "Freebie" Shelf. I was very impressed there was free wifi across the whole site. Everyone else on the site really respected the 10pm quiet time and this really helped us to get a good chill.

Occassionaly had to wait for a shower as there are only 4 indoor (there are outdoor ones but the latches for the doors are not toddler proof so this wouldnt work for us unless happy to shower with the people washing up! But as I said this was the site at full capacity and out of 5 days there I think we only had to queue twice which wasnt bad at all.

I ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ this site. 4th year in a row Ihave been. Showers and toilet facilities, washing up facilities. Across the road from the beach. The seafood restaurant across the road amazing and you need to book before hand as always packed... For very good reason. The pub at bottom of field very handy to watch tbe sunset and have a dessert and pint. Sue and Gary who live and manage the site are lovely. It is clean, well managed and accessible to Bude in 8 minutes

My only pet peeve is... When you set up your tent or motorhome think about who is behind you and try not to block their view of the ocean!! But what did I dislike about the site... Nothing it is fantastic

Great location and modern facilities block

Lack of rules will be an attraction for some but created some friction with people setting up haphazardly without a thought for others.

We absolutely love it at Sandparks! This was our fourth visit. We haven’t been for a couple of years and the changes to the washblocks and reception are all sympathetic and helpful. Sue and Gary are FANTASTIC wardens. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Clean, great view, nice people, chilled vibe. Spacious and quiet enough.

Local shop closes before check-in time, do had to drive back to Bude for any thing we’d forgotten. Not the campsites fault though.

Great campsite! Relaxed, clean with all the essentials! Near Widemouth bay beach.

Great location, easy check in and lots of spots available. Large clean shower and toilet blocks and a short walk to the beach and taxi tide to town.
