The welcome from the staff was fantastic. They were extremely helpful. The site is well cared for and maintained. The site was absolutely great for us despite poor weather. ( we had a picnic pod pitch) which helped. The bar was very civilised and lovely and low key not rowdy or anything like that. I would say it’s one of the best sites we have been too. Yes sure it’s by a busy road but don’t let that put you off the noise of the rain on the roof more than drowned that out. The toilets really are the future and kept very clean. It will be my go to site if I am in the area as only had a two night stop this time.

Nothing to dislike other than I couldn’t stay longer.

The campsite was clean and had great ablution facilities and is dog friendly.
I would recommend this lovely peaceful site to anyone, though you do need be mindful that you need a car to get to anything in the day

We expected grass or sand on the pitches, but there were stones instead which ended up ruining our groundsheet. I would advise asking for a grass only if you can as they're also more flat.
There is a lovely bar, but it's only open on during the day and limited evenings which is a shame as it's nice to have a communal space to speak to other holiday makers as there's nothing else nearby

Lots of space for awning and caravan plus your own picnic area.
Combined individual shower and toilet cubicles. Cleaned daily. Ground staff were very good and helpful. On site shop and a bar. Will be going back there.

Unless you don’t like radio 2 being piped into the shower nothing to dislike.

lovely facilities, bathrooms were clean. the site itself was lively and pretty, staff were very friendly and helpful.

Loved the onsite bar and the cooked Sunday morning fry-up. Very doggy friendly, gave us some walking trail maps.

Excellent value. Super toilet & shower facilities. Very well laid out. Nice little bar. Friendly and organised. And a great spot. This was our first time here and it will become a regular place. We just bought a little motorhome and now found this little gem of a place to take it.

The thing that topped it was the fantastic wifi. No problem streaming the football!

Dog walks very good, showers fab, bit closely put together needs more room. Good pub, bens pub, beer reasonable.

Showers/loos. Facilities such as park, dog area, bar, cinema etc. lovely big pitches. Bricks for bbq available. Well stocked shop with good prices. Great location. Lovely and clean site. So well priced too. Will definitely be returning.
