Pinecones is a little remote but excellent site with the best wc’s/shower blocks we have seen for ages. The waste disposal is well situated and looked after, the dog showers were fantastic in this weather for dog owners. The grey waste water drive over drain is a fabulous idea.
The bar is great with reasonable prices and ALL of the pinecones staff were friendly, polite and very hard working.

It isn’t a dislike, it is just a shame that the restaurant was closed for the week.
Our best wishes for a speedy and total return to good health for the chef.
And a thank you to the trainee chef who made the best burgers anywhere, for the one day that he kept the food coming.

Quiet site, small amount of road noise during peak times, close to interesting places, and rural surroundings were great. Shower & toilet block well equipped and very clean.

Some irresponsible dog owners onsite, walking their dogs early morning 645am allowing them to misbehave, barking for some time.

Enjoyed the super pitch with picnic hut . The showers were good . Nice area

Incomplete one way system was closed off at end resulting in having to turn round and having to return down part of it.

Clean tidy site and all amenities showers toilets in perfect order, Dog wash was amazing and needed for my two hounds constant warm flowing water a real bonus. All in all a lovely stay for us and the dogs

Only small issue was the road noise from the A149 but soon got used to it.

I recently stayed at Pinecones Camping Site and was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The comfort pitches were outstanding—spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The site is also exceptionally dog-friendly, with a range of scenic walking routes directly accessible from the grounds. These walks were ideal for our dogs, offering both variety and tranquillity, and allowed us to fully appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. From check-in to departure, their professionalism and willingness to assist made a real difference and contributed greatly to the relaxed atmosphere of the site.

Although the presence of distant road activity is noticeable at times, it does not dominate the soundscape, and most visitors find it to be a minor background element rather than a disturbance.

Great location, helpful staff. Bus service a 15 min walk away to Kings Lynn & Norfolk Coastal Resorts.

Spacious serviced pitch with a picnic bench. Toilets and showers clean and tidy. Lady in shop and bar was very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed a breakfast roll one morning, dogs got a sausage too! Nice dog walk directly behind site, sadly too warm too take advantage of longer walk. Easy access off main road.
