Lovely peaceful site, nestled in the hills below Painswick, next to a large fishing pond. There are four pitches with picnic benches and a smaller pitch under the trees which was just perfect for my little tent. There is also a communal indoor space with sofas and kitchen facilities for if it's raining. Shower was hot and was cleaned regularly. I enjoyed a campfire and listening to tawny owls and little owls.

An additional shower/toilet would have been helpful, but it wasn't too much of a problem to wait.

A lovely peaceful site with a beautiful view from the camping field. Fabulous area for walking. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and would definitely like to stay again!

Absolutely lovely site. Quite place in the valley. A local pub in short walking distance.

Lovely little site with only a small amount of pitching spaces. Lovely warm welcome and plenty to do near by. The toilet and shower block was lovely and clean. We had a really good time here.

Rustig gelegen. Veel privacy. Maar toch op loopafstand van het mooie Painswick.
Het huisje is ook nog eens heel leuk ingericht door een zeer aardige gastvrouw.

Beautiful setting & lots of P&Q.
A hot flask of water & fresh milk in the morning delivered to our door to enjoy our coffee while listening to the birds was just bliss.
Great facilities & a short walk into the village where we enjoyed a tasty Sunday lunch.

The facilities were perfect - kitchen with essentials and fully functional bathroom.
The area for campers was quiet and peaceful, and loved that it was small and private.
Our host was very welcoming and gave some good local recommendations.

Beautiful spot! Really gets you into nature. In the heart of some epic walks, pubs, river & views. Just 10 minutes drive from vibrant city centre of Stroud with so much to do.
We will be going back :)
