Lovely site, perfect if you’re competing at the National water sports centre.

Went for a 2 night stay, absolutely amazing. Clean spacious pitches. Friendly service willing to help if any problems. Definitely would go back again for a longer stay next time. Highly recommended

The adventure activities were great. The site is very busy and has a lovely park and safe area for the children. The site was well kept. The adventure activities were great and. Good price.

The toilet and shower facilities were disguising. They need ripping out and rebuilding. The Elson was a little too exposed for my liking. The water based activities we felt were too pricy

I could see playground from my tent, great for when you cook and kids wants to play at the same time. Tent pitches looked after, grass was cut short. Wash up area under roof is good especially on rainy days. In general nice area, other playgrounds, activities for kids and lake near by.

The only thing I would improve would be cleanliness of the toilet/shower area

There was space for families to play all sorts of ball games and have lots of fun!
There was lots to do in the water sports area.
Although when we arrived, there was a caravan already on our pitch (the pitch had been double booked) the staff found us another pitch and this happened to be closer to our daughter, her husband and children so this worked out well for us.

Great clean site br back again

We had a fantastic time, we met some really lovely people and the kids made lots of friends. We had a blast and will return but definitely in need of some TLC.

Luckily, we had our own facilities in our caravan as the ones on the site had seen better days and weren’t maintained left really dirty. The lock on the ladies didn’t work so that meant kids were left unattended making a mess.

I didn’t like emptying the waste hog
Into the drain under the fresh water tap, personally, I feel it should be seperate.

The park bridge was broken and children were still playing on it despite it being boarded up so that needs attention asap as someone may get hurt.

Shop/reception was hardly open.

We had a look at the reviews and we was worried but we had a very nice time everyone was helpful and the space that we got given was spacious and clean. We met some wonderful people and we will come back.
