Location to watersports

The toilets were disgusting. Only hot water at sinks. Horrible for cleaning teeth.
Lots of broken equipment. Showers not working or flooding. All very grimey!

Very clean site and facilities

Push button shower constantly having to push the button as it didn't stay on long enough

Lovely spacious site, was full but not cramped at all as pitches around sides of field so space to play. Short walk to the water activities. Plenty of toilets and showers but water temperature was a bit hit and miss.

We asked to be camped with our friends, but two of our party were in a different field. The campsite were able to accommodate us and they were moved closer.

Quite a long walk to shower and toilet block if in the furthest field.

Clean, tidy site. Close to Nottingham City and the sporting grounds.

Size of pitch, ease of access (no check in required). Facilities were good - couple of issues with toilets as detailed in disliked box.

Toilet/shower cubicle I used had a faulty lock and someone tried and opened the door whilst I was inside. Luckily I was only washing my hands! The locks need to be checked regularly plus maybe a method of showing the unit is occupied as sometimes people close the doors after they exit giving a false impression that it is in use. Also, 2 of the units I used smelt of stale urine. This could be because they were unisex.

We had a brilliant weekend, meeting as an extended family and having a family bbq. The site is flexible and as long as you're not up all night making noise, some party time is welcomed. The site is fantastic, the amenities are top notch! The water sports area is amazing, the toilets were cleaned every morning, the site is well lit at night and there are any type of accommodation you could like! We had no complaints and the children had the best time. It's really family friendly. We stayed in a luxury hut, it was very dry and cosy with a comfortable bed. We were able to book so that we were all in the same area together or very short walk away from each other, even though we had different accommodation.

The booking was not the best experience. I emailed with details about our complex booking and asked for dates were we could all be together. However the customer service here was poor, they didn't read what i had asked or answered all my questions or help me to book in the end as we ended up all booking separately.
I was also very surprised and annoyed that, for such a large site, there was no recycling on site. We had to take our recycling with us to avoid having to bin it. The local morisons had a recycling centre, petrol station and very large store nearby so we recycled there. This is not acceptable in our book, this needs urgent attention. Wifi was non existent, couldn't get logged on.

Clean and well presented site, warm water and clean toilets and showers, lovely location and friendly welcoming staff. Can't recommend this campsite enough!

If I am being really picky 10am seems a bit early for checkout, but there was free parking option for post-check out which was a great option. But genuinely had a great time at this site!

The pitch , meeting new people with children and the surroundings are fab with access to a lake a Watersports. Such a beautiful place to stay

Trees made for lovely shade with the scorching sun. Also the receptionist was totally lovely, helping me alter my booking with care and attention. 10/10.

Showers. On or off. Temperature not variable, searing hot or take a walk. Serious dislike.
