The park was clean, easy to navigate, Free WiFi, it had a great park area for the kids, plenty of space for them to burn off steam and have mini adventures. The shop was filled with everything you could need and had friendly staff. The site was big and offered plenty of space to make your pitch a home with a garden, the toilets and shower blocks were well maintained and the quantity was rather unexpected compared to other sites. Site was brilliant and easy to navigate, good flat ground for both tent campers and motor homes, just a short walk to the national water sport park (literally across a small road), had plenty of water filling stations scattered all over site, which were well needed in the hot weather we've had this weekend 30 degrees. Best campsite by far, well maintained, spacious and friendly, with plenty to offer on site and just on the doorstep of Nottingham city centre. Definitely recommend and will be returning 👌 great Annual birthday camping trip!!

What a great place! It's ideal for both a relaxing getaway and for those who prefer to stay active. Families with kids will find plenty of attractions to enjoy. The resort itself is very well-managed, and I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the toilets and showers, which are cleaned every day. I'd definitely recommend it without hesitation.

Lovely area. Lots of facilities such as clean toilets and showers. Great water sports and parks for the children.

There was no ventilation in the shower cubical. Found it difficult to breath and dry myself.

It is a good large site run bye the Nottingham council.

The grounds were extensive and that it was within walking distance of watersports centre.

Toilet block. Dirty, no locks on some doors showers dirty.
Too few toilets and showers for the great number of users.
Rules over noise and open fires ignored.
No sign of any wardens as stated on website.
Reception team unhelpful when another family group had encroached on our allocated family pitch so we were split up.

Travelled with our two children 6,1 for a family weekend. We was allocated park view, large pitches. And very Close to park. Great shop facilities and close to toilets and bathrooms. Mad our own memories and have fun. Visited the Holme Pierrepont Country Park watersports center paid £3 for two hours parking and also used the bigger and newer park here with the kids. Great wifi throughout the site which came in handy on rainy days . Icecream van was a great hit with the kids

Showers outside need a good clean. But inside we’re great they just didn’t drain well.

Great site and location, with large pitches. Kids loved playing on the open fields and play park and only a short walk into the National Water Sports Centre too.
