What is there not to like

Perfect stay, no issues and great facilities. Would definitely recommend and return trip being planned!

Fantastic stay. Great facilities, very clean.
Shop was stocked with everything you could need and at a very reasonable cost.
The children loved the play area. The pitch areas were very well maintained with even ground.
The team were extremely helpful and obviously took great pride in their business.

Overall all I can say is we will definitely be visiting again! 😊

The property is beautiful, clean and well kept! We’ve been back here twice now and are already planning our next stay.

Lovely site. Very friendly. All facilities really clean and tidy. Plenty of space. Pitches lovely and tidy. Shop well stocked and very friendly staff. Lovely play park area for my son play.
My son especially loved getting up every morning and chatting to the horses and pigs. Lovely surroundings.
Very well kept site around. Will definitely visit again.

•The shop had great opening times and lots of local stock and camping essentials to offer for such a little shop.
•Lovely location
• The toilets and shower blocks are really clean and there is a block for each field too so it’s not crowed even when the site is busy.
• Fire pits are available from the shop.
•The staff are friendly.
•Ice cream available on site and an ice cream van comes to the site.
• the site has drinking water available for everyone to use.

The post code for the campsite takes you 5 mins more down the road than the site actually is.

The free for all pitches meant you could get blocked in if you wasn’t careful, as people can pitch up where they want.

The play area was fantastic. My 9 and 12 year old really enjoyed it and was great to be able to pitch up opposite so I could see them. They also loved the pigs, sheep and chickens. The shop had everything you could possibly need and the couple running it were so lovely and helpful. It was great to have fridge-freezers available so I could buy milk and store it to use throughout the stay. Just all in all a fantastic site.

Lots of space to pitch a couple of tents. The facilities were good and we loved the convenience of the small shop which really did have everything we needed. We loved the chickens coming to visit us in our tent and the pigs on the way to the shop. It's in an excellent location to get to matlock, bakewell, ashbourne, carsington and other places.

Other campers left there engines idling, it would be a good idea to have signs to discourage this.

Loves the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the site, the overall feel of the site was so clean, open and relaxing, lovely little shop on site, and facilities clean and tidy - would definitely recommend and stay again
