When we stepped into pod the heating was on as were the lovely fairy lights. There was a fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster .Also selection of tea coffee milk. Next to pod was a lovely clean, heated toilet and shower. Mirror on wall was of a bull just like the name of my pod. Pods were well spaced out with picnic table and own fire pit. In shed was fabulous lounge with TV many games and table tennis. Also kitchen area with washing up etc. This place is so well set up. Has everything you need. Easy distance to Livingston shopping centre .Also 15 mins to tram which takes you straight in to Princes Street. Every 4 mins !!
Lesley could not have been more helpful and welcoming. We did farm tour with farmer which was fantastic. Even held new lamb!. The pods are so spacious my daughter had family of 3 children and there was plenty space for them all to sleep. I was on my own and was very spacious cosy and luxurious!! Set near Pentland Hills .Countryside all around ,see Forth Road Bridge from site. Lovely walks all around site as well. So ideal for family get togethers!! Cant say enough about how lovely Hilly Cows Wigwams was.

Wigwam was clean and cosy (even in Jan) with good facilities. We loved using the firepit and it was great having kettle and fridge. Host was very welcoming and accomodating. Kids loved meeting the animals, playing in the park and the games room was warm and well equipped too. Loved the little touches like the elf biscuits for the kids and all the wee cow themed bits.

Wow what a lovely surprise this fabulous family run campsite near Edinburgh, first class wigwams & the kitchen & games room was just brilliant for our family! Great way to spend NYE & bonus tour of the farm today was brilliant! Thanks to the hilly cow family for looking after us we can’t wait to come back X

Just seen the new year in here and what can't I say, it was absolutely perfect for it as catered for all my needs. The site itself is a working farm but very well looked after and facilities are so clean. The views spectacular and owners so welcoming. Missed the tour of farm as had too get back for work but hopefully next time will get a chance.
Thank you guys for a great break away, I guarantee too return soon.

The wigwams were spacious, well built the site had a huge amenities block and wonderful views, also in a great location, only 20 minutes from Edinburgh

We loved every second of our stay at Hilly Cow Wigwams. Located about 35 minutes away from edinburgh, The hosts were very lovely and friendly. They really made the place feel like a home away from home. The facilities were easily accessed and always clean. A beautiful area with stunning views. A very family friendly location with access to walks along the fields to look at all the animals. Will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend to anyone!

We had a lovely couple of days at hilly cow, everything we needed was there on our arrival coffee, tea, sugar a very nice welcome, our wigwam was lovely and clean staff brilliant there if needed, there is a lovely big kitchen and big dining table for families to use and everything you would need for our dog if needed every cabin has a picnic table and benches so plenty room for kids to eat bbq if wanted right beside you.All very friendly the farmers stopped for a blether when passing plenty fresh air, lots of walking , definitely be back

Brilliant set up, everything there that you need. The views were to die for and the owners were lovely. Lots of stuff to keep us occupied we didn’t leave the place.
