Leaflets are dropped off by the local distributor of the local attractions and we have coast to coast brochures which are in our laundry room and are available 24 hrs a day. We have found over the last couple of years people tend to use Google to find out what’s on in the area and have ideas of what they’d like to see and do prior to coming and brochures and leaflets are hardly picked up. Our washing facilities were updated 4 years ago and hot water provided and included in the price.
With regards to the location that’s down to personal preferences - we have many that walk in and out no problem at all. Personally myself when choosing a campsite to stay I look at all of the above and make my own decision i.e if I could manage being out of town or not! The road you walked along is the one you drove along to get to our site so you had an understanding of the walk and distance yourself prior to actually doing it.
