We loved the location, set within the Brecon beacons National Park. The location offered plenty of relaxing hikes and even a dip in the nearby waterfall. We loved the wander through Coed Yr Held (Held woods). The animals on the farm were a huge hit with the little kiddies and they had so much fun interacting with them. The hospitality shown was second to none, nothing was too much for our hosts to cater for.

On our part we perhaps didn't do enough researching on the place before we came so we didn't have a clue they offered things such as soft ice cream until we saw it on the social media posts when we returned home. The kids would have loved that but we just didn't look into everything before we came as it was a last minute trip. So that dislike was on our part I will say. The only other thing I would add is when we booked the pitches seemed very large and spacious and away from other guests but when we arrived we were very close to others. The only reason I was apprehensive about this is I have sleep apnoea and it can be very disturbing to other guests.

It was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend making a trip Glanwdi Glamping. The location was perfect with the town close by. We visited Pen-y-fen which was only a 5 min drive from site along with the 4 waterfalls walk not being too far drive. The place was modern (I love the sky window in the shower) and clean with perfect views, we actually cancelled dinner out to have a takeaway and marshmallows by the fire pit. Plenty of cooking facilities next to the tent we’re provided, fresh eggs could be collected on site. There is plenty of space for children to play and visit the goats and chickens. The hosts were lovely and very helpful providing us with information on places to visits and charging our power bank.

Great set up everything you needed clean tidy and a lovely warm welcome throughout the stay, this was our second visit this time with the kids and they were besotted with the goats and chicken. Thank you so much for being so patient with all their questions.

After an awesome half term stay in May 2021 we booked to come back as soon as booking opened for the 2022 season. This also meant we managed to nab the tent with the wood-fired hot tub which was new this year and was a brilliant addition! Like last year, the children (8 and 10) spent a lot of time cuddling baby goats. They also loved being able to collect fresh eggs from the chickens (another new addition). We'll undoubtedly be back again!
