The shop was reasonably priced and kept all of the essentials you might need, including fresh eggs. The little common room cabin was a nice touch, especially when it rained. Owners were very personable and understanding. A great chill stay with incredible views.
There was a paramotorist camping on the site that flew between 8pm and 9pm a couple of nights, which was quite noisy, but I imagine not a common occurrence. Our 3 year old loved the action and the unique experience, but it may have bothered other people.
N'a pas aimé : I got quite a few bites from either mosquitos or midgy flies whilst camping in the Lake District. It might be worth taking something like deet! The ground seemed to remain damp for quite a long time after the rain, which may be a factor.
