I loved the views all around the camp site. Toilets and showers were very clean at all times of the day - Showers were nice and hot, cleaning supplies to clean up after yourself.
Toilets were 2 minutes from the furthest tent pitches.
Fridge and freezer in the communal room was great, also has a toaster, kettle and microwave for all to use.
Kids loved the playground, able to see the sheep in the field next to our tents, and the small walk up to see the herd of cows.

Fresh water taps all around.

Only snag would be that a fire pit should come with each pitch, and not at an extra cost.

Cars everywhere!! Because you are unable to park next to your tent cars are all over the side roads/paths blocking the wonderful views.
Some people decided to ignore the rules about not parking on the grass, dogs on leads, no gazebos, quiet after 10pm etc etc, which was a shame. There was a lack of visibility of the owners most of the time so people tended to do what they liked.

The camp site was amazing. Tidy and clean. Very peaceful and family friendly environment. Certainly an experience to repeat.

Level pitches

When we were there, they’ve just replaced the fridge and freezer so they worked really well in keeping our freezer boxes frozen.

Close to main road so you can still hear the traffic. Great if you want to be near shops and attractions but I’d go further in if you’re after remote locations.

Depending on where you’re pitched, the toilet blocks, washing up area and shower are quite a walk away.

My new all time favourite campsite. Amazing location, we were on non electric fleld which really felt like wild camping, with waterfall right there to swim in daytime and listen to at night, but with hot showers a short walk away. Owners were so friendly and easygoing and had good recommendations of day activities

Lots of traffic noise so earplugs necessary. Shop doesn’t stock much and no shops nearby so you need to be prepared

Our camping trip was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The campsite itself is a gem – run by the friendliest owners and staff who truly make you feel welcome. Everywhere is spotless, from the shower rooms to the washing facilities, and the site is surrounded by breathtaking views with waterfalls and plenty of space to explore.

There’s a charming little shop selling fresh eggs, milk, and tasty treats, plus firewood for those cosy evenings. If the weather’s not on your side and you’re in a small tent, there’s even a sheltered cooking and dining area – and for extra comfort, a TV room complete with fridge, microwave, toaster, tables, chairs, and even a sofa.

It’s a place where every detail has been thought of, and honestly, there’s nothing to dislike. A perfect mix of nature, comfort, and warm hospitality – we can’t wait to go back!

Friendly and helpful

We are 75 and camping and caravan club members so was worried that we would struggle with the facilities but all went well.

Beautiful location, very well maintained, good facilities: a shared covered area with two cooking spots (bring your camping stove and cook when it's raining), fridge, dishwashing area. Everything very clean and well maintained.
