The reason that we do this is that we have found in the past that guest will book way in advance and the not turn up or cancel last minute. This leaves us with empty pitches and no time to fill them. For small sites like us this has a big impact and therefore this is the best way to reduce the risk. Please remember that you also visited on a bank holiday, during school time and most sites will require payment well in advance for this.
It is disappointing when guests state that they "will not visit again or recommend us", yet we understand that the site is not for everyone. There are many of our guests that keep returning and appreciate what we offer, our low prices and the simplicity of the site.

Some of the holiday makers had dogs that was not on leads.
Children running around camp site around the car and caravan with no control from parents but guess this is to be expected when booking in the school holidays so wouldn't book again when kids are off school
