Clean site, good entertainment, wasn't sure about just letting kids pick up lambs willy nilly, parents weren't perticualy supervising and kids were just going in the pen. Clean well kept toilets. Good location fantastic veiws and sound of the river and animals.

Could have done with a couple more toilets in the camping feild especially down by the entertainment.
Unfortunately had some very disrespectful neighbours on the Friday night who had friends turn up at nearly midnight then loads of shrieking, laughing and swearing, car door slamming till 3am.. No respect for other campers, but not sites fault. Also saw kids chasing lambs round the feild up and down the hill (if this was a dog it would have been shot) don't think that this is promoting good animal welfare or how to behave around animals. Wasn't explained on arrival there was any sort of list for animal feeding just to go down at 8pm..when arrived "the list was full"? This was never explained. Also conflicting information on firepits... In welcome booklet emailed it said to find a pitch with bricks and you buy logs.... Turns out they deliver them to you between 5pm and 7pm...we saw them go round but they totally missed us out so had to go and find someone then got charged £10 (paid extra for extra logs but not given enough kindling) all ended up wet so couldn't even use half of it for the Sunday :( also fire pit wouldn't even stand up properly so had to wedge it around so we could use it.

Really nice location with beautiful scenery.
Toilets were ok, certainly not bad like other reviews of this site has said.
Owner was helpful and friendly.

Very sloped, car was slipping and sliding down the hills, had to hunt for a flat spot to pitch. (Apparently an extra field was closed for lambing)
There was only one point to get water and the grass all around was like a swamp, would have been nice if there was a few flag stones to stand on to keep dry feet, and a bit of a trek up the muddy hill to fetch water back to the tent.

Very Friendly and helpful staff. Children loved feeding Animals and campfire

What a fabulous campsite! The staff were so friendly and there is a really relaxed feel. Perfect for letting the kids explore and enjoy themselves. The live music was an amazing surprise too! We will be back!

Farm and fell is an amazing campsite, Brian and Nathan were so helpful and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. Being able to feed the animals and have talks about them and their progress was just amazing and a wonderful experience for our daughter and ourselves. We have been a few times before and will be back again. Great location great staff and knowledge of area. Xx

There was lots of space for the tent but also the kids to play.
All the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
The loos were clean considering they are portaloos.
We loved that the kids can feed the baby animals. We will be back again!

we were better off staying in a layby where we would not have to pay £25.

We loved our little night Farm and Fell Campsite. We arrived on the first day it was opening and the staff were more than helpful. The location was great and there was plenty of space to choose from.
