Lovely picturesque site with good clean amenities

Peaceful site and nice clean bathroom facilities

Site was large and clean. Toilets and shower were basic but clean. Plenty of space for the children to play football. Play equipment was nice but a little tired and unstable. Had takeaway pizza delivered directly to the site car park from the next village!

The road was very noisy all night long! I know that isn’t the owners fault but I don’t think we realised how busy it would be. Also fishing alarms were going off through the night which were high pitched!

A small campsite with a family with 3 tents, another 2 families with a tent and a couple of motorhomes. There was only 2 toilets and 1 sink but most of the time this was suffice unless everyone wanted to use at the same time. We had a lovely 30 minute walk to a local pub and noticed there were buses and a small station if you wanted to venture out for the day without a car.

We hit unexpected traffic and were running 10 minutes late. We were worried we would get turned away but couldn't get through after an hour of trying. The hand towel and soap ran out quickly and there were no replacements available.

Site layout, freedom to choose where to park the campervan, the shower/toilet facilities were very clean and had hot water, Tanya was very friendly and had excellent communication

Located right on the busy A46, which was not ideal when we tried to set out on our bikes or if you want to walk from the site

How friendly the site was.

I didn’t need on my one night stop, but access to a fridge, freezer and microwave for this price is incredible.

Bathroom was very clean too. I hope to be back for a longer stop.

Road noise, but that’s me struggling to find something for the dislike box! Only very minor and quieter later.

The lake, the owners, the location.

The toilets were amazing for camping. Clean and really high standard. Nice and easy to park and dogs allowed which helped.

4g signal is rough (no fault of the owner or site)

The road is noisy (no fault of owners)
