Fantastically simple site , direct access to a stunning section of river.
Showers were hot and toilets clean.

Campsite is basic but has gas showers and flushable toilets in wooden cabins. Very easy to use shower. Firepits at each pitch from what I could see and the river is a good spot to swim in. Sian was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries, I would definitely stay here again.

Great scenic camp site. Good facilities, shower, toilet and pot wash. As well as recycling and logs for sale!

Paired with the fantastic pebble beach on the river, which is great for paddling/ swimming. Also a great location for mountain biking, with loads of local trails and in between some great bike parks too. Not far from Mac either, it’s easy to reach if you need to shop or if you want some food. We will be returning again, and hope for many more great visits. Be sure to get a camp fire going if it’s chilly at night!

Great site, good facilities and clean pitches. Logs for £4 are very good and owners were lovely who even gave us some free gas.
Signal is available there and ideal for viewing the Mach Loop, we had 4 aircraft fly directly over the campsite.

Well spread out pitches in a sheltered valley. Access to the River and peaceful background noise. Simple but effective facilities.

Midges in the evening, but typical for the area.

Lovely campsite with amazing views. Clean toilet & shower unit.
Definitely coming back 🙂
