Arrived home today after 2 nights and we have definitely found our go to stay in the lake district. Peaceful site in beautiful surroundings. Well stocked shop and friendly staff. The microlodge glamping pods are so well equipped and have absolutely everything you need. Lovely touch of coffee, tea, biscuits etc. Better shower than the one we have at home! 😂 Close to the water and plenty of places to eat. Can also recommend the Crown Inn pub to eat, delicious food!
To top it off once we returned home realised we'd left all our walking boots, rang and spoke to someone straight away who were more than helpful and said they would box them up for us no problem if we wanted to arrange a collection.
