Lovely place to stay excellent surroundings lovely lake staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nice and peaceful very relaxing definitely be booking to go back.

Grounds were lovely’s and it’s just a short walk to the castle .
The toilets are really clean, modern and the showers are actually hot which is an added bonus !
Check in is simple enough , the welcome email explains everything that we need to do .

It’s not really a dislike but would make it better is more toilet/shower blocks because they had ques out the door and also from the tent pitches it’s a bit of a longer walk .
It may also benefit from having pitch numbers for tents as tents had pitched up everywhere not leaving adequate room between each other

We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed on a hard standing pitch right next to the lake side walk entrance, great sized pitches.
Bathrooms were cleaned daily, good amount of showers and toilets and didn't look rundown.
facilities were well maintained, with a freezer for your ice blocks.
Fish and chips van comes to the site every Saturday.
Staff really friendly and knowledgeable of local area.
Little shop on site which sells quality products (no cheap options).
Ice cream van daily and takeaways deliver to site.

Were unable to change temperature of the showers which was very hot and uncomfortable for children.
Children's play area was just a field.

Flat pitch, good service at reception. Toilet and shower blocks clean and tidy. Very scenic area with lake

Visited in our motorhome my daughter had her caravan my other daughter had her campervan I requester to be together a month earlier that didn’t happen I did like the camp loved the fish & chip van too

That as we booked for us to be together but wasn’t at all thought it was a bit pricey we stayed on the kings campsight at sherringham omg so clean friendly put us together as a family

Plenty of space to choose a pitch. Good toilet/shower facilities. Lovely little shop onsite and friendly staff. Campsite is pretty with access to the lake right onsite and some lovely walks around the campsite.
There was also a fish and chip van and ice cream van that came on the evening which we didn't use but would have if we hadn't already brought our own food with us :)

Also our 4g network worked for us to get Internet x

Lovely site, flat pitch not too far from shower block. The shower block was well equipped with somewhere other than the floor to put shampoo etc, a 'plinth' to keep your feet off the floor and hairdryers and additional mirrors. Very clean and well thought out. Access to a short walk next to the lake with a gorgeous view of the swans and Castle Howard, made for a nice stroll after tea. Was actually nice not having a signal. Not much to do with access by foot but the half price entry to Castle Howard was perfect to spend a full day exploring.

We were on an electric pitch just before the main tent field and were disappointed at the level of noise past 10pm. I believe there was a midday walk around by site staff to check those vacating had actually left but that was it. The addition of even a small play area would also be a bonus. I would also recommend creating a larger washing up area as only 2 could wash up at the same time which would be an issue in busier times.

Fantastic, loved it. What a gem, hidden away from everything.
