Nice big shady pitch with hedges for privacy. Spectacular sunset and great mountain views when the cloud finally lifted. Pool looked beautiful but didn't use it. Eco site with compost bin, ethical cleaning methods, a leave and take corner. Lovely little supermarket and butcher at the entrance to the site. Peaceful in September. Warm welcome

Heavy rain stopped play and we got bitten loads but that's no one's fault.

Ideally situated close to the town of Saissac and around half hour drive from carcassonne. Supermarket on entrance. Plenty for children to do, communal barbecue area, pool. Small onsite bar (cash only)
Enclosed pitches

Groups of children running round the place and screaming did not make for a relaxing break. It’s is a shame as we loved the site itself. We left a day early.

Absolutely beautiful campsite, perfect pitch (31) with plenty of shade and amazing views, don’t be put off by the reviews of the toilets, they now keep some toilets in the main block open 24 hours so always enough toilets and showers which are kept very clean. The owners are really lovely and if your french is not great speak English. The food from the bar is very good and there is a supermarket just outside the gates that pretty much has everything. A walk into the village is a must and the ruined castle is well worth a visit. There is a cash machine at the post office.

Por las mañanas tendrás un despertar mágico debido a la cantidad de pájaros que se ponen a cantar

Relaxed atmosphere. Lovely pool and views

Bugs. There's nothing the owners can do about it, but we got bitten more than most sites.

Lovely large pitches, small but spacious campsite which made it easy to position the caravan onto the pitch whilst hitched up to the car. Quiet, chilled out site which was very suitable for young children. Very nice little pool area and a small enclosed football net area and a trampoline which the children enjoyed playing on. Toilets, showers and washing up area all clean and well maintained. We followed the directions to the site given on the campsites website, which I would recommend doing, as some of the roads in the area are narrow and windy even though they don’t look it on a map. We had no issues towing the caravan up to and finding the campsite by doing this. We enjoyed our stay on this site.

The reason for the 3 star review was because of the caravan toilet waste disposal area. It was a drain with a grid over it near the front of the campsite with no water tap or hose pipe. This meant that you could not clean out the toilet cassette or wash the drain over once the waste had been emptied. My husband always took a watering can to wash the drain over, but not everyone did this as there was bits of toilet roll etc left on and around the drain cover.
