It felt more like a permanent site for residents with a few pitches available. Facilities were OK but basic. Hot water intermittent in kitchen block.
Family (2 adults, 3 children arrived) e route back to Jersey and discovered no cafe, went to find food locally but not successful so packed up and left and I don’t blame them.
I am very sorry that you were disappointed by your stay with us.
The covered and heated pool is open between May, 1st and September, 30th but this year (2023), we opened it earlier (probably just after you left, this is very unlucky!). Sadly, as a small campsite, we cannot afford to open it throughout the year when the weather is too cold in our area :-/
The bar is also open in high season and should you have asked we would have been more than happy to serve you a hot beverage anytime even in low season.
Our village is small but there are 2 bakers, a bar, a vet, a farmer's market and many facilities as well as a supermarket within walking distance which is open on Sunday mornings.
It is always better to let us know what you need in order to help you have the nice stay you deserve.
And we always appreciate it better when people talk to us instead of leaving a negative comment afterwards or simply leaving the campsite without any notice.
We do our best to keep our customers happy and I would be more than happy to show you how nice the campsite is when you take the time to discover it properly.
