Large pitches fully serviced in lovely countryside surroundings

This is a very peaceful relaxing site. Spotless toilets and showers, the showers. Beautiful lake on site, little shop for essentials with added bonus of sale of local produce including strawberries, cream, ice cream and eggs. Pip (owner) can not do enough to help you with everything. Fire pits permitted if you hire them and buy wood at shop which is very reasonable for a weekend. Overall lovely stay on a warm weekend. Superb wifi site wide too.

Not anything to dislike just one thing I thought should mention the residue of grass after cutting was quite heavy across field carried into tent and was hard to keep out as tents cannot be vacumed. We did lay an additional ground sheet out front to help. Understand wet weather earlier in month May have caused this and it is probably not a long term issue. Did not spoil our lovely stay or the experience.

Access is via very narrow lanes, for many miles from both directions,as it is a very isolated park, fortunately only met one vehicle approaching me, and he was able to pull into a farm entrance to allow me to pass. As the park is secured by electric gates you need to go to reception in the farmyard then turn around to go back to the gate to the park. Road on the park is quite rough with troughs for drainage.The layout is similar to an amphitheatre and drops down into a small valley which means no radio signal and no mobile phone signal either! TV reception is good though. Pitch size is good and level and they are fully serviced. Wi-fi is available to purchase on the park but when l logged on to buy, it stated that it was not a secure connection, so may get hacked. If you are down in the valley, it is quite a hike up to the top of the hill for the services, (toilets, showers, cassette emptying, recycling)

We arrived at about 1pm booked in with Pip the owner who is a very cheerful and approachable owner. Was give information and park rules and directed at a pitch of our choice. The park is a well maintained the facilities are very good and always clean. The large pond is well stocked with fish. This is a working farm so there is a lot of farm activities going on but never interrupted our holiday the Grass is mowed regular. The location of the park means if you go in any direction you are with 20miles to Ross ,Monmouth , Hereford and Abergavenny 1 hr Drive to Barry island there is a chip shop and pub close by but not really within walking distance The views of the countryside are very pleasing to the eye having breakfast sat outside your van on a warm sunny day really gives you a feel of freedom from the daily rat race. The drive to the park can be a bit daunting at times the lanes are tight in places but there is very little traffic on these lanes there are pull ins so you can pass safely we had no issues the whole week.

I have tried my best to find any dislikes on this park but i am afraid it ticks all my boxes

A really warm welcome when we arrived, plenty of information and guided where to pitch. The facilities are very clean and well looked after as is the site as a whole. Nice and quiet at night with some great veiws too.

Not much to dislike really, if i was being super picky I suppose in height of season a couple of more washing up sinks?

Very welcoming on arrival. Large level pitch with plenty of space in peaceful surroundings.

Pip the owner, very friendly and easy to talk to, toilets and showers were always clean , along with a great showering experience for a campsite, the site was well kept , and the fishing at the lake was fun.

Absolutely nothing really.
