*We stayed in the mountain view lodge. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay

*Good shop 5 min drive, good pub/ food/ stone baked pizzas couple of min drive
*Fire pits + BBQs allowed
*Felt safe - plan to go back just me and my young daughter.
*Location great for Powys Castle, Lake Vyrnwy and local walks.

Lovely site with very welcoming hosts. Clean facilities and a great bar/cafe area serving food and drink. Stayed in a lodge and was impressed with the facilities.

Lodges / huts very close together - would have preferred more personal outdoor space

The feel of the campsite is that the facilities are for more weekend users or regular people that have permanent pitches. The cafe was not open when we arrived and also the bar didn’t open in the evenings as site was quiet . This should be advertised as this because it was one of the reasons we choose to visit .
No hand wash or paper towels in the toilets.
Breakfast menu there was not one we were told what they would make .

We stayed for one night on Sunday and had a lovely time. The site is beautiful and peaceful. Clean and comfy lodge. A good extra is having a cafe on site.

Very few facilities. We were ok but I imagine if the site is full it could be a long wait for toilets and showers.

The toilets weren't so clean

Had a brilliant weekend camping here. The river pitch was beautiful and very relaxing. We loved how all the tents were spread out nicely to give everyone a bit of privacy. It was super easy to get to and very convenient with the bar where you can purchase food, drinks and fire wood. The atmosphere in the adults only area was brilliant. Julie, the owner, did an excellent job managing noise levels so everyone could have a relaxing nights sleep.
