We loved our stay as 4 adults and 4 children, wasn’t over crowded and we could sit outside the tent a bit later.
Everything is so close to the campsite, we took a 25 min drive to a lovely farm for the children.
Also close to many petrol garages/food places.We will definitely be back!

Yes there was a large group that was on site but they hadn't overtook the site, all entertainment was done by 10pm.
The site was open to the public along with the cafe/bar, when the cafe/bar is open the shop is open, you have to enter the shop from inside the cafe/bar, maybe you was trying the outside door which is always locked.
There is 3 toilets and I would be very surprised if they had all ran out of paper at the same time, if you had brought this to my attention it would have been resolved.
On the plus side glad you like the onsite bar :-)
The site was open but as explained on the phone I had a family emergency which meant I would not be there to greet you on arrival.
When I spoke to you on the phone explaining the situation you wasn't very happy as you wanted to arrive early due to having a table booked to go for a meal. As a solution to the situation I proposed I could book you in where you was going for a meal as they are also a B&B.
I refunded you £25 as a good will gesture so you could have a few drinks with your meal.
You was more than happy to accept this so I am unsure why you have left a negative review.
