We loved our stay as 4 adults and 4 children, wasn’t over crowded and we could sit outside the tent a bit later.
Everything is so close to the campsite, we took a 25 min drive to a lovely farm for the children.
Also close to many petrol garages/food places.We will definitely be back!

Yes there was a large group that was on site but they hadn't overtook the site, all entertainment was done by 10pm.
The site was open to the public along with the cafe/bar, when the cafe/bar is open the shop is open, you have to enter the shop from inside the cafe/bar, maybe you was trying the outside door which is always locked.
There is 3 toilets and I would be very surprised if they had all ran out of paper at the same time, if you had brought this to my attention it would have been resolved.
On the plus side glad you like the onsite bar :-)

All nearby leisure activities are available, you just need to book direct with them as they are nothing to do with Brook House we only advise what's in the local area, if you didn't have any contact details I could have provided them and more besides.
Yes we currently only have 2 showers with plans to add more. Even if we had 10 showers you was here during a bank holiday and like every site there will never be enough for some people during busy times as people don't like to wait.
Not sure where you have seen a kitchen advertised with cooking facilities, I have looked all through pitchup description and I can't find this.
Yes we have a shop on site that isn't a camping shop but we also don't advertised that we sell camping supplies.
The site rules are dogs on leads at all times if I see any dogs off the lead people are reminded that dogs are to be on leads at all times, unfortunately I can not be policing the site 24/7, if you have raised this to me when you was on site and I would have spoken to the group and reminded them of the rules.
There is 4 water taps around the site, one being near the gate as you go in the camping field. With regards to the bins we have a refuge area with 2 large bins and recycling boxes, not sure what more you expect.

Quite surprised by your review as during your 4 night stay here you had been in the Cafe/Bar everyday chatting away about day to day stuff and how lovely and quiet the site was, however I did warn you that on your last night (Friday) it would be quite busy. When you say the showers were broken, I find this very strange as everyone else managed to use them all weekend without any issues, maybe you didn't switch them on as there is a the pull cord with them being electric?? Why didn't you mention it??
The main bins are emptied every Monday, they was emptied last week y but as it was the bank holiday and people didn't leave until the Monday they soon filled up again quite quickly, I did explain this to you and you never complained and you was happy to just leave your rubbish next to the bins.
When you say four caravans sharing one socket, you do realise that there is 4 sockets per stack, so please be factual as there was not 4 caravan in one socket. How cables were running across the drive way is a mystery as you can see from your photo on the right is hard standing then grass where the others were pitches the cables were nowhere near the driveway. With regards to one meter apart it is quite clear from your photo that caravan are not one meter apart as the legal requirement is at least 6 meters apart.
Once again sorry Brook House wasn't for you but unfortunately you cant please everyone ;-)
