It was a very straight forward check in, such a peaceful place and you can see all the stars as there is no light pollution; honestly had the best time and it has a nice walk around too.

The shower facilities is immaculate too

The planes and noisy campers at the time but that’s not the sites fault

Great setting, lots to do and close facilities. Friendly staff. Nice spacious pitches by the lake.

Over the bournmouth flight path, so alot of planes going over low.. great if you like plane watching.

Large amounts of space, brilliant activities, and great view - all for a pretty decent price

Nice grounds / site, view, nearness to lake, fridge/freezer, good for families; nice and quiet; toilets / showers good.

More focused on children activities wise it felt; bit spread out e.g. fridge/freezer was a trek.
Were told we could check in pitch at 1pm. When we arrived about 12:30, we were told we could not pitch until 3pm. Wasn't much consideration of our time or real apology on this.

Check in staff were very helpful.
Campsite had lots of amenities.

When we used the toilets by the lake on the day we arrived they were filthy! There was mud on the floor by the showers, and there was mud on the sinks. This wasn't a good first impression. Unfortunately the lake activity use these toilets and the lake activity team don't clean them afterwards!

Unisex toilets. This made most of our group feel uncomfortable. We would prefer separate men's and women's toilets.

Bins were overflowing down by the toilets and yet the watersports team must have walked past it dor 3 days.

Location, facilities, views. The whole place is lovely, set in nature.

We asked for Forest floor but was given the meadow. Not a massive deal but it was something we specifically did want.

We had an amazing time, we only came for 1 night but the tent pitch we had was in the perfect place and we were super happy. Lots of activities on offer and the lake is beautiful on a sunny morning! Facilities were really good

Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful setting. Toilets and showers are clean, hot water and free. On site activities are reasonably priced and great fun. Communal picnic benches and fire pits are great.

Forest site has very stony ground so i recommend heavy duty pegs.

The unisex bathrooms are busy and take some getting used to
The bike I hired had not been checked, had a flat tyre and gears that did not function! Not ideal!
