I liked the open space of the campsite and the variety of walks right on the doorstep. Little shop was really good and also the kids really enjoyed the park & swimming pool. Staff also really friendly and informative.

Shower and toilet facilities could do with an upgrade also bit far from the camp field.

First time arrived, we already love the place. The staff at the reception are lovely and pleasant to talk to. When we got to our tent spot, we even mesmerised how big the space of field is and and soooooo clean too. My kids are in their element running around the field playing football and exploring and making friends. The park was only 5 mins walk away from where our tent and 3 mins walk to amenities like shower and toilet. Apart from campsite, there's also caravans and glamping pods in the area which is well-kept and the environment is well maintained clean. Apart from the park where children can play there also free swimming pool to use (you need to book through reception). If you like to walk on the trails, Tissington trails isn't that far from the site too. We did a lovely walk on the trails which you also can get on your bike 👌
The pub nearby called The Old Dog is a good stop along the trails if you need a good beer down your throat 😉 and 11mins to Ashbourne Town (in the car) Last but not least, we did enjoyed our camp and we had a good time especially the kids. Best part was we witnessed the Northern lights and meteor showers night. And 100% we will come back again! 😊

No WiFi but it wasn't a big deal. Prefer not to engage with any technologies (such as social media etc..)anyway so not a big problem 😁

Lovely clean and modern site. Loved the field that we were in which had Lovely views. Friendly staff and well maintained surroundings.

The whole site was lovely and clean, was looking for a place to take my son camping for a night and I am so glad I picked this campsite, he loved it playing around the field and park then going swimming.
Will definitely stop again

The whole park is so lovely. Everything is clean and tidy. The staff were really friendly. Although the park was busy it didn't feel it because there is so much space.
The play park is great for the children and the indoor pool too.
We went on a lovely walk along tissington trail which you can just pop on to using the driveway of the park.
I couldn't fault our stay. Wish we had booked for longer

Camping pod was perfect, clean, with comfy beds and en suite shower a bonus. Site was very tidy, lots of space for games and shop stocked everything we needed. Heated swimming pool was fantastic and booking system worked very well.

The site was great. Plenty of room to pitch, toilet and shower facilities were close by and clean, room to play games and cook, so you didn’t feel like you were intruding on somebody else’s pitch, the play park and pool seemed great (although we didn’t use these) and the Tissington trail is literally next to the site.

We disliked nothing really. The shop doesn’t have a massive choice and closed at 5, but that wasn’t a problem. It does stock a fridge of beer/wine, which seemed reasonably priced too.

Extremely well- maintained, clean, tidy site. Excellent play area for children. Burger van on-site serving food morning & evening although no vegetarian options! Small swimming Pool included in price which was bookable and not at all crowded.

Great price for non EHU but price jump in price from non EHU to EHU pitches is huge!

Shop onsite is great. It has a good range of products & alcohol.

Staff very welcoming.

Very cute & very friendly doberman 'receptionist'. Maybe I shouldn't say that - I'm sure if he needed to be, he'd be a VERY effective guard dog!

GREAT location for lots of fab family days out.

Peak Place (Non EHU camping field) is very sloping. Top part of field is slightly flatter but with no space to pitch, we tried to find a flattish area to pitch but all of the field is on quiet a slant. We pitched with the tent facing up the slope so airbeds were at an angle. Inner bedroom tent slipped down and ripped two clips out of the groundsheet part of the tent (not happy with this as brand new tent - only 2nd use!). We also slipped down whilst in bed. So not great & we probably wouldn't return because of this. Which is a shame as it's such a great site otherwise.

Also walk to toilet/laundry block is quite far away from field and whilst perfectly functional, in need of an update!

Pool shower-room / changing room in need of a good scrub & clean; mainly around the shower area where it was all yellowy, orange around bottom of shower and shower curtain. So it's a bit yucky & mucky.
