Park was Brill for my daughter, friendly staff and clean facilities and good dog walk in the woods.

Lovely site. Very clean. Staff great. Came round to collect your rubbish on a morning. Recommend you take a bucket as a back up loo if on the Non EHU field as toilets are quite a walk. Pool was ok but very shallow so not great for older kids who want to jump and dive. Showers extremely hot in the pool area. Need looking at. I would recommend this site. Perfect if going to Alton towers. Only 25 mins away. Shop on site had plenty of choice. Laundry good. Burger van on site. Would def go back.

The pitches were a good size and this was a quiet, family friendly campsite. The playground was really good and helped keep the kids busy.

The communal areas were not cleaned regularly. One of the pot wash areas was left filthy by another camper and it wasn’t cleaned over the next 36 hours. The toilets weren’t cleaned during our stay and the kids told me someone had been sick in the playground and this wasn’t cleaned up when we left.

We liked the park it was brilliant for the kids and had plenty of stuff for them too do.

We also loved the dog walk area which was fantastic for a paw 🐾 friend.

The toilets and showers was always immaculatly clean and showers was always warm.

It had a shop on site, laundry service and a freezer to use for freezer blocks.

The swimming pool was a good addition but have to book early to get a good time however was a decent size and was always clean with the facilities within.

Toilets very far camping site not nice in the middle of the night, positioned within middle off caravans which will not use them, need to rethink position or add more toilets closer to camping facilities

Fabulous site, easy check in, and the grounds are so well kept.
The toilet block is fantastic, regularly serviced, and they use Tork toilet tissue and hand towels, a sign of high quality.

We did not use the pool, as we were out all day, but did have a look at it, and it looks fab, shame we didn't have time to try it out.

The shape of the pod, cleanliness of pod and swimming pool, the organisation and no cost of the pool, friendly staff, lovely private shower and toilet. Felt safe for our children and dog. Right on the tissington trail.

It was very hard to establish online before our stay whether or not the en suite was a toilet and a shower and if it was in a separate building. We couldn’t see that the pod had electrical sockets so had to call ahead. We would have liked more info on the swimming slots organisation before our stay (was a bonus it was no charge!) We couldn’t see that there was a communal microwave onsite we could have used beforehand. Children were disappointed that the zip wire still wasn’t fixed after it was showed in photos.

Site was well maintained and clean, lots of space on the non electric camping pitch (no allocated pitches just go where you want to) really great play ground for the kids, great that there was a microwave in the laundry room but it was dirty. Great that there was a food van (but only open for certain times/days which would be fantastic if it was open for a few hours around each meal of the day, we didn’t have chance to eat from there)

The toilet block was on the next field over. The zip wire on the playground was broken, site rules meant the kids aren’t allowed to fly kites, the toilet block next to the static caravans was quite dated, was a shame that the social room isn’t there anymore as it would have been good for rainy times (I read they removed it for a caravan sales office)
