Beautiful place to stay and the pod is lovely and very warm with the heating, make a bog difference having your own toilet and shower, my kids are just a little bit to old for the play area but it looked good and plenty of kids playing on the park. I didn't go to the swimming pool as we was going to Alton towers and It closed at 4pm so we had no time when we was back.

The kids loved the swimming pool and the brill options in the shop for sweeties.
The park was brill also for the younger child.
Also the staff was very helpful and friendly.
The toilets and showers are perfect very clean & warm 👌

Site very tidy clean amenity’s swimming pool just the right temperature. Staff very friendly and helpful couldn’t ask for more.

Nothing to dislike and if people did I think they’d be pretty petty to be honest.

Beautiful view from our pod across the valley. Clean pod clean site. Very well priced and staffed. Pool sessions were well managed so that it didn’t get crazy. Shop had just enough of the right things to stop us needing to head to town.
Welcome email included a helpful warning about some local traffic.

Site is right on the Tissington trail so we brought bikes.

Quite a few restaurants in the town were closed up.
Probably cause of road works. So wasn’t much choice without going further out.

Not the site fault.

The glamping pod was really cosy. Great to have the additional heater and plenty of lights and sockets. En-suite toilet and shower was just behind the pod and was clean and the shower pressure was better than my house!

Perfect Location for Tissington Trail

Long walk to Elsan point.

This is a lovely site, plenty of room between pitches, fabulous location for walking and pubs that you can walk to.
Even though the site was pretty full and we were right next to the kids play area it was a relaxing place to stay and the other visitors were all very respectful of the site and site rules.
Good toilet and shower block, warm and clean. We would definitely return here

This isn’t a dislike as such more a suggestion- it would be very useful to have some coat hooks in the sink area to hang coats/washbags/towels while using the sinks.

The new Toilet block was smashing lovely and warm (it was chilly outside). The park has been well maintained. Pitches well maintained

Toilet waste facility a bit tricky to find it's shown on the site map however myself and two other chaps were also looking, perhaps a small arrow pointing people in the right direction, or have one in the touring section.

Also some soap would be handy for after use at the sink to the side of the building.

My children had brought cash to buy a small treat from the shop but it was card only I think you might be missing out on that market.

Welcomed by friendly staff, infomation leaflet and map given. Site was immaculate, the toilet and showers were clean and warm, loved the fact we were situated opposite the block, so really convenient, but no pitch too far. Perfect spot for exploring. Our dogs loved the Tissington Trail, which we enjoyed the walk up to Tissington and back on our 1st evening and the following day walked to Ashbourne & got the bus back.

Didn't have a chance to try the swimming pool out.
