New toilet block and shower facilities are great. Clean and tidy. Visited with my daughter, 6, and friends with similar aged children. They love the site and play area! Lovely area to go for a walk

No zipwire anymore, Elsan waste disposal is a bit of a walk from the pitches. Why wasn't one installed with new toilet block?

We stayed in a pod for 3 nights. The pods were good, decent beds and a good size, site was clean and well maintained. Having your own en-suite is a proper bonus. Access to walks and especially the Tissington Trail was excellent and The Old Dog pub in Thorpe, which is easily walkable from the site is highly recommended. Approx and hour walk into Ashbourne and other villages are not far away on the trail. Small shop on site is pricey as you'd expect but had everything we needed

The pitches are close together, ours was overlooked but not the end of the world. Our biggest disappointment with the site was not being able to use the pool. Despite trying to book ahead it was fully booked up for the whole time we were there which was annoying as we'd picked the site specifically as it had a pool. I recommend you try and book it the minute you arrive if you're thinking of going.

In a great area for walks good park for kids to play

Shower and toilet block to small for amount.of people on site tour waste disposal too far away from where they are pitched and there only one of them. Power to a few electric pitches keep tripping out .water tape at the back of my pitch 20 had no pressure water just drips out

This is a lovely site in a fantastic location with access right onto the Tissinngton Trail. Staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent park for the kids.

The toilets, while nice, could have been checked and cleaned a little more often.

Excellent site. Very clean and lovely park facility , shop and pool . Owners were particularly helpful and nothing was too much for them. They even gave us a kettle to use. Pod was clean and bathroom too. Shower had plenty of hot water. We had a lovely stay.

First time staying in a pod. We didn’t realise that there was no kettle etc in the pod but this was not a fault of the site. Maybe it should state that there’s no cooking/water boiling facilities and that you need to bring all you would for camping.
