Brwynllynnau Farm is a peaceful adults-only Gwynedd glamping site on a working farm in Llanfair, two miles south of Harlech. This is a scenic spot indeed, with views up to the peaks of Snowdonia on one side and looking out to the Irish Sea and the Llŷn Peninsula on the other. There’s much to do nearby, with sandy beaches, mountains and castles to explore – but as the tents have all been set up to make the most of that sea view you may find yourself sticking around there for quite some time too… Each of the bell tents here is well furnished, with bed linen provided for the beds and kettles, crockery and glasses awaiting for your evening drinks and meals. A firepit with barbecue apparatus is provided for each tent too (just the place to keep warm as you watch the sun set over the sea…), and it’s a short stroll to the well-kept toilet/shower facilities. If you fancy heading out instead, there are pubs and places to eat five minutes’ drive away in either Llanbedr or Harlech. You’ll want to stop in at the castle in Harlech as well; other days out nearby might take you to the beach in Barmouth or Porthmadog, or the Italianate village of Portmeirion. And of course there’s your local beach too – it’s only a mile to Llandanwg for several miles of sand dunes and splendid sea views.
