Lovely site with fairly level and large pitches. Really good facilities, well stocked shop, plenty of toilets, showers and washing up sinks. There is even fridge, freezer, microwave and kettle in the wash room which we really appreciated when the weather was really rubbish and we just wanted to heat some food up without lightning the barbecue in strong winds!

My only niggle was that the site was a bit open so no shelter when the weather decided mid August should be really seriously windy.

Clean, comfortable accommodation in a lovely location. Lodge was well equipped and attractive. Private hot tub was so relaxing after a day exploring this beautiful part of the Lake District. A good base for families who enjoy water sports on/in the nearby lakes or a day out in the Scottish Borders. We all enjoyed our stay here.

Not a problem for us but it’s not a site for those who enjoy/expect non stop entertainment.

The whole site, is great set up. Encourage fire pits and can be hired from the site, also bbqs

Shame for people with motorhomes who don’t have any other transport as a long walk (3 miles) to nearest village or pub but great site

Hot showers, drinking water throughout the site, big pitches, free Wi-Fi, shop on site, clean toilets, great scenery, quiet after 11pm. Fire pits and bbq’s allowed and available for hire. Really friendly staff.

Toilet and shower facilities clean and tidy. Pitches not super close to each other so we had space and privacy. Reception area had lots of supplies if needed. Liked the walk around the site, including the resident alpacas!

The whole place was lovely!!! The pitches are nice and big so you don't feel cramped up at all!!. The workers are so nice and helpful. The toilets and showers are cleaned all the time. Couldn't fault any of it. Will definitely be going again!
