Extremely welcoming and friendly staff they helped us pitch up and showed us the on site facilities. Showers were nice and hot and didn’t require to be pressed every minute like some other sites.

The location is great. Loved the peace and quiet. The site includes everything you need for a relaxing break. The hottub was a treat.

The sofa was too big for people with short legs. Lol

We loved the immaculate wash and toilet facilities.
The campsite had well spaced out pitches. The campsite overall is very clean, tidy and well managed by an extremely helpful and polite team that work there.
It has a handy well stocked little shop at reception that has just about most things you might need!
Good location for jumping in the car and being in the lakes within 10-15 minutes or west to the coast in a short time or not far to head north to visit Hadrian's wall.

This is probably one of the best sites we have stay on.
Lovely friendly staff,big spaced out pitches.we was pitch 34 hard standing/with hot tub.
Pitch was pretty level and good gravel,tap for water and waste disposal 200 yards away.
Wasn’t that busy so view was of empty fields,with sheep and cows in distance fields which was great.
You could hear the cows mooing,think they disliked the rain.
Access to two toilets/shower blocks both spotless,well equipped,fridge freeze,phone charger lockers,laundry and all heated.
Great interesting marked out dog walking route with llamas in one field ,well stocked shop,fire pits,logs etc.
Our pitch had a hot tub which was fabulous,was taken care of by the staff we didn’t have to do a thing!
It’s fenced in for privacy and you have patio furniture also.
Strong signal and Free WiFI.
The pizzas by Crust and Co were delicious,you text them your order and desired time of arrival and they deliver to your pitch!
Wonderful stay.

Not really dislikes just personal preference.
No pub in walking distance.
I understand the fence for privacy around hot tub,but an opportunity to enjoy a view would be nice,maybe
Some noise behind our pitch from road/timber yard,but nothing too disturbing,just aware.
If your visiting the lakes,it’s quite a drive away.

this is one of the best campsites in all of U.K without doubt.
Super clean at all times. great hosts.

Lovely welcome with some great facilities. Shower area clean and well kept. Great fridge/freezer and WiFi. Wood fired pizzas delivered to pitch were a lovely touch. Generally well maintained site.

Some large holes in the site that weren't ideal to pitch over/near. Site backs onto a 60mph road so some road noise could be heard.

Site easy to find , lodge was clean and very well maintained and equipped. Staff friendly. Very quiet at night .

Fantastic clean, warm and spacious family shower rooms. Hot tub and outside dining area for our hot tub pitch. Pizza to pitch delivery service by Crust & Co. Friendly greeting on arrival. Site very well maintained.
