The site was very well maintained and the staff were absolutely brilliant. Toilets, showers and washing facilities were all kept very clean, staff were very friendly and polite. The site is very close to Bala lake which was perfect to take the paddle board and kayak. There is also a beautiful river walk from the site which we really enjoyed.

Fantastic site, family friendly, very well maintained and the staff were brilliant. We will definitely come back.

Location beautiful river setting and very close to Bala town
Facilities are very basic but spotlessly clean. Upon arrival I was worried that the 1 male and 1 female toilet on the tent pitch field would mean queuing for loo. However I was wrong and they were always clean. Again shower block only has 3 showers for female but again we’re always clean and never had to wait to use facilities. Only downside for us on this trip was the poor Wi-Fi. The weather was extremely poor and stormy and we couldn’t get the Wi-Fi after the 1st night in our tent.

Perfect spot next to a beautiful river! Easy access to Bala town by car but off the beaten track for a peaceful stay. Walking distance to the white water centre which I highly recommend booking. Lovely walks near by. Bala lake was stunning! Great faculties and large pitches. Very clean!

Only 3 showers in the women’s block which meant queuing.

Close to clean amenities small shop with lamb burgers and honey can feed the donkeys and sheep roaming freely lovely camp.

Not the parks fault in the slightest but….. there is a major mozzy problem going on. If you plan on sitting out on a summers evening then I’d highly recommend spray or a burner like I use when wild camping. Again, not the parks fault (unless they have the power to ask them to kindly move on)

The site has a beautiful location, next to the river and a short walk to the National Watersports Centre. Bala is a short drive away. The showers and toilet block were spotless as was the site as a whole. The ice cream vending macnine was a hit with the kids........ beware....it will cost you a packet!

The staff were really nice, going about their business with smiles on their faces and making everyone feel welcome.

During busy periods there were queues for the Ladies facilities
