This is a brilliant campsite! There is a lot of space and you can pitch up where you like. The views over the countryside are beautiful. The toilet/shower block was always super clean. It is only a short walk into Padstow too. Would definitely stay again!

Great budget friendly place to stay, This was a last minute get away for us and everything was super easy.
Incredibly friendly owner and staff, greeted us quickly and with a smile, even suggested where the best place to pitch up for watching the sunset. When we couldn't find logs from the local shops, they gave us the option to buy some from the site.
Even though you're unable to walk to the local pub you can have a drink on the site, buy a pint at the bus and look out over the hills and fields. no traffic noise, just nature.
The toilet / shower block is new and very clean!
You also have full phone signal even at the bottom of the hill.

Everything!!! Yet again a fantastic long weekend break at Tregella Place. Thank you again Lucy for a wonderful welcoming and an amazing weekend of fun and entertainment. Already looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Lovely area to sit outside and have a drink. Love the bus as a bar 😍 & the burgers are to die for! 😋

Location and price.
Received a lovely text on the morning of arrival. See disliked for the rest of the story.

Facilities were not well maintained. Not cleaned regularly. Floor was always wet.
We called the number when we arrived as the sign and text requested. No answer, we waited 15 mins to see if anyone would call us back but nothing so decided to find a pitch. Not really an issue, thought it would be nice to check in.
There was live music on both evenings, on the Sunday evening it was clear that the entertainment was primarily for the staff/managers/owners friends birthday.
We were washing up after dinner and a lady approached us to ask if we would be going that evening. We had no ideas who she was. She the. Stated to a near by man. I will quickly check the toilets. She was gone about 2 mins and reappears with a small peddle bin from the gents. This had been full since we arrived.
I checked once she went back to the festivities and the floor was still wet and the toilet paper had not been filled up. Not quite sure what she was checking for.
Nice little site, the area for music etc was nice, it just felt like you weren’t really welcome as there were a lot of the staff etc friend arriving for the birthday evening.
We packed up in the morning and left with no issues.

I believe that when you are serving Alcohol (from the double decker bus) it would be nice to identify who was actually in charge of the venue, just in case of any disturbances etc.

Would be easy to improve on issues at this venue. It really depends on the owners. Will they read this as it is meant ( constructive criticism or will they see it as complaining and ignore it.
