Staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Good size pitches. Bar and shop reasonably priced. Goats and the park are a great addition.

We really enjoyed are one night stay and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Space. Freedom. Adequate facilities.

My wife was not keen on the rustic services. Dog owners exercising (going for a poo!) On the camping field. They always picked it up, but not a pleasant thought when pitching up in future. Rather random hours of shop and bar.

Amazing venue for kids. Bouncy castles, park, animals and lots of space to play. Nice clean facilities. Amazing staff. Totally fabulous 👌

Lovely big field, walked along the canal to the pub in the village. We stayed on a Sunday night so the shop and food service was closed so didn't get to use these facilities. Looks like a particularly good site for families with young children.

Only one small comment about the refuse which was piled up in places around the site and the wheelie bins were over full. It was hot weather so this was attracting wasps. There were people collecting it up though.

My children really enjoyed feeding the goats, and the playground with the bouncy castles was a big hit. The on-site shop is well-stocked with everything you might need for camping, and the prices are very reasonable.

That said, there are a few things that could be improved. There’s no barrier at the entrance, so anyone can come and go at any time. Personally, I prefer campsites with a barrier that’s closed at night—it just feels safer.

We stayed from Saturday to Tuesday in the lower part of the campsite, and unfortunately, the toilets in that area weren’t cleaned at all during our stay. While toilet paper was restocked, the floors and toilet facilities were in a poor state. I understand these toilets are older than the ones near reception, but they still need regular cleaning.

The showers were only cleaned once while we were there, and with only four shower blocks available, it didn’t feel like enough to handle the weekend crowds.

Loved the whole site! Great to have the shop, bar and eatery all available for use during the day and lots of space to sit.
Love the extra element of being able to interact with the goats and it's in a great location for a lovely walk 🙂 Defo will be going back!

Some noise from the train passing during the day, yet very quiet at night

Open fields, no EHU camp where you want to.

Toilets and showers minging.
Wasps, wasps and more wasps, site not interested in problem, had to leave after 3 nights due to wasps everywhere. Would not refund balance as booked for 6 nights.
