Space. Facilities. Atmosphere. Location. Bar and food availability. We only stayed for one night as en route home but could see how popular this site is for families. Very safe and it’s got everything you need for a few days away. We visited on a Thursday and I can imagine how busy it would get at a weekend!

Great facilities, shower and toilets were perfect! Just a quick one night stop for us on the way to somewhere but could easily stay and make use of the bar/breakfast etc. They found us somewhere quiet for our one night, but seemed good vibes and child friendly if you have them 👍 booked last minute and arrived 830pm with no issues and someone around to meet us in the shop

Was a beautiful place, the environment had a relaxed and friendly feel, animals to see, clean facility’s hot showers and running water. Great location near the canal and river and local supermarket nearby if the in house shop doesn’t have what you may need. the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Felt extremely safe during my stay. I met with some of the locals who also spoke very highly of the place and adore visiting to see the animals, I Would highly recommend this place for everyone and I will definitely be retuning. A little hidden gem 💎 and great value for money.

Nothing I disliked absolutely nothing.

Staff were friendly, loved the goats and birds. Pitches are a decent size. Love the added additions of bouncy castles and play equipment for the children.

In Both sets of toilets only one hand soap dispenser actually had soap in, and sanitary bins were full and the cold tap on one basin is broken (bottom of the field). The wooden boat that my son loved could do with a new “wheel” and the reminiscence of a sign taken down which is attached to the boat. Bit disappointing that the cafe wasn’t open, I couldn’t find anywhere that states this when booking originally. Couldn’t seem to get onto the WiFi (said we needed to be closer when putting the password in so gave up)

Always a great experience. We live locally and love to pop here for a night away. Such a lovely friendly laid back vibe.

Showers need abit of care

The children loved the goats, birds and bouncy castles.
The food was good.

Just a lovely little place and it’s good you can have a little camp fire

Brilliant little campsite, very well organised and clean

Only issue was men’s showers drains smelled a bit funky but smell went away once water was flowing through drains, but showers I will say were very up to date and spotless

Animals and bouncy castles make this a fun campsite for young children.
Nice communal areas with benches/seats and a small bar.
Hot food served on weekends was great! Homemade pizzas (although one was very oddly shaped) tasted lovely.

Unfortunately feel toilet/shower facilities could use some TLC, broken toilet seat and broken soap dispenser which wasnt refilled for 2 days. Shower rooms quite small which made it difficult showering young children without getting yourself wet or whilst trying to keep clean clothes dry (unless you use the open changing area/bench outside the shower doors but door opens up to the playground).
Not the campsites fault but also lots of unsupervised, large groups of children for lengthy periods of time leading them to fall out, shout/swear and become quite intimidating to our younger children
