This campsite is a gem! The location is beautiful. The facilities are basic, but if you are used to camping at a festival, it will seem luxurious! There are no shower facilities, so maybe a couple of days is the best duration for your stay, but there are plenty of nearby streams and rivers if you're brave enough. Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Craven Arms, The Long Mynd, Clun, Church Stretton are all near or within within 30-40 minutes drive of this wonderful campsite. That's at least 3 amazing castles! Wild hilltop drives and great, well priced food at the Stiperstones Inn, 5 mins drive away. The backdrop of the Stiperstones to this campsite is just perfect. Love it. Can't wait to go back. Tim and his lovely wife are the perfect hosts.

Lovley country side, very friendly owner, clean looked after field, dogs are allowed.

Not able to drive car into field to pitch up and had get all equipment down by wheelbarrow.

The owners were extremely friendly giving great advice and help when needed. Thank you for your kind hospitality! The site is located in a fantastic location with great views and easy access to many exciting walking/hiking routes. The site is very basic camping which is perfect for those looking for that 'wild' camping vibe. The fact we were allow campfires too is a massive bonus which really improves the whole experience. The toilet it well stocked with toilet roll and paper towels. A very well kept site with ample space to pitch up tents for your stay.

The site is on a bit of a slope so finding a flat pitch is difficult, but it doesn't ruin anything as you can still setup everything as intended. You also can't take your car onto the site due to the slope making packing and unpacking tiring moving everything between the car park to the site. Once again, this doesn't ruin anything but should be noted for those who may struggle getting things setup or packed away. There is no hot water at the dishwashing sink, but nothing a bit of hot water heated up in a pan can't solve.

The owners were very welcoming and the campsite is a hidden gem in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. No complaints! We will be back.

Tim was a lovely host, checked in and then was left too it. Back to basics camping with lovely walks around the area. Nice toilet facility.

Beautiful, quiet location, great walks from the site, fantastic views, camp fires allowed, friendly hosts. Although basic facilities, there is everything you need for a short stay.

Potential issue if busy. Only one toilet, although there is a compost toilet as well.
