The squires cafe is fabulous, the staff were very helpful and really very accommodating when it came to parking our Motorhome… everyone was very friendly and the food was excellent.. for the time of year the cafe was very busy … unfortunately the weather was horrendous.. very very windy - which sounded a lot lot worse due to the cables above us ….the torrential rain didn’t help the flooding in parts of the site - wellies were definitely needed ….. The train line that’s very close to the campsite was busy but after a few hours we hardly noticed it …. In the summer I can imagine this campsite being very busy with families and bikers .. thank you squires cafe campsite .. you made us very welcome ..

Stayed 1 night just wish we'd booked more . Fantastic food at cafe on site plus amazing hosts will return soon so we can try the Sunday carvery looks amazing

Site is very welcoming, staff were great and we met a couple of people who stay regular and they were great, obviously we were there out of season, travelling to York the following morning, but we will most definatly return to this site as I can imagine it to be brilliant in the summer, food and drink at good prices, showers and toilets clean. Over all great stay and we will be using again.

Very efficient check in. Helpful, friendly staff. Delicious reasonably priced meal in the cafe. Didn’t use the facilities (showers, toilets etc) but looked spotlessly clean. Electric hook up good value. Plenty of dog walking areas around the site.
