Loved the motorbikes & people & good to have a pub on site too

No real 11pm curfew so can be noisy after midnight but nothing major. Be aware it’s a popular biker place as others have said so check ahead if you don’t want to be part of a festival. Personally, we love bikes & bikers are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet but we do like sleep too!

The site was easy to find. The cafe was convenient and the food reasonable. We enjoyed the biker atmosphere and all the bikes.

It’s close to a railway and the trains sound their horns every time they pass, which is not good first thing in the morning! Apparently there is wifi but it was down when we visited.

Great friendly team who gave an efficient and informative service. All pitches are a really good size and ours, with electric hook up, was at the end of a long well-kept field which was great as we had masses of space. It was right next to the railway line which was not a problem for us as we were only there for one night, plus, it did not run through the night and was not a fast main line train anyway. I would rather than than a busy road any day! The site had a great atmosphere and was busy but quiet from around 10.30pm through the night. There is also a cafe bar which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices but we had our own so did not use it. There is masses of space for kids to run around and play games plus an enclosed dog exercise area which, if we had our dogs with us, would have been great.

The toilet and shower block we used was a portacabin which is fine but not the best. Everything about them was old, tired and in desperate need of replacing or renovating but, again, we were only there for one night so they did the job. The showers are token operated but we cannot comment on if they worked or how good they were as we did not use them.

Fantastic site would definitely return. The site was well looked after and clean. Plenty of space on the pitches. Great for the kids.
The squires cafe was spot on to with delicious food & drinks at good prices

We come here every year for the Rock and Bike show, and we always pay extra to set up behind Squires. Amazing venue, access to toilets, showers, hot food and drinks. Perfect location

Close to showers and toilets, bar and all staff were very friendly especially the cleaners who always seemed to be cleaning toilets and showers!! So can’t complain about the cleanliness. Chips were AMAZING!!! Very spacious pitches!!!

Showers didn’t work the best when all in use. Nothing to put your stuff on when getting a shower.

Dogs running free, left a pile outside our van the woman who owned would not clear it up ( polish ) music playing well past midnight, drunks riding mother cycles in the camping area, children whizzing up and down on electric bikes that should only be used on private land
