Staff at the bar was friendly

Topped electric up and had nothing but trouble with it the voltage appeared low they were supplying however was spending £10 a day electric and it was tripping constantly.
Cars pulling up at all hours during night.
Appeared to seem more like a storage yard.

Good size pitch. Great cafe friendly. Clean facilities great area to walk the dog. 30min drive from York

Friendly and helpful staff. Great bar that also serves a good breakfast. Brick BBQ stands in place for outdoor cooking.

Not really a dislike, but: There is a railway line running right past the site and I pitched my tent right next to the embankment. With earplugs it I found it didn’t really bother me and would happily pitch there again.

Pleasant small camp site. Sheltered from winds and stayed dry underfoot despite wet conditions.

Great site, stayed during the SBBA Yorkshire bone chiller weekender and the site was nice and clean with nice facilities

Friendly, warm welcome. Flat pitches. Cafe is open long hours and serves great food.

Check in was easy in the pub, pitches are nice and secure with drop down barrier. Food was good in the pub. Showers were OK, clean and tidy but could be revamped. 20mins to designer outlet by car with free parking and £3.60 per adult on park and ride to York City centre. Kids are free on park and ride. Pitches aren't quite level so make sure you have ramps but only talking about 6 to 10cm not feet plus £1 per shower and £5 electric cards from the pub(not a negative just advice). Signal good on O2 on site

I know this is not the sites fault but the train was running close to the site with the horn going off every time it went past. every hour in the night and every 15 mins after about 7am. Ramp up to the toilet block didn't in still you with confidence that you weren't going to slip. Not that we did and there is a hand rail to hold onto. A lot of Trades people with vans on site presuming they are seasonal pitches with destroyed awnings just making it look untidy.
