Super convenient site. Excellent showers and loos. Really clean. Charges for showers so take change. Pitch over looking the lake. Lovely owner, Andy, couldn’t be more helpful! They have great little pods you can book too . Good location, we visited the Elan valley from here. Fishing lakes too.

Suggestions: Put hand-dryers in shower block; add some coat hooks outside shower stalls for coat.

Lovely stay. Site is small and well kept, minimal noise, some road noise but even this was barely noticeable. Facilities are kept very clean. Site is quite open so not much protection from wind etc, not a dislike but just advice to ensure to take lots of pegs and supports for awnings etc as ours really needed it :) lovely site overall and will stay again!

Not so much dislikes as just things to know. When we booked, the information said showers were 20p. When we arrived, instructions said that they are 20p per minute and you can only use 20p or £1 coins. Not really an issue but not something we were aware of until we arrived. Also nowhere to put clothes or belongings for showers, when you enter the cubicle it’s straight under the shower, so clothes on the back of the door and bag on floor etc get wet. Site had WiFi but not the best so be aware might not work for what you need.

If you are looking for a peaceful setting to get away from all the noise, this is your place. No loud music and absolutely no noisy neighbours....complete bliss.
We went on some lovely hikes in the local area and Andrew the owner gave us lots of tips and info on these.
The site is absolutely spotless, great facilities and the rules are actually enforced here👍
Unfortunately we ran into some engine troubles on our way to the site and Andrew was very accommodating and understanding.

We will definitely be returning to this wonderful site

Everything! Beautiful peaceful campsite with level pitches, friendly and welcoming hosts, great clean facilities.

What a lovely spot. Gorgeous views m, red kites flying overhead wonderful. I was pitched in the shelter of 2 vans due to the high winds which was really kind and appreciated (and needed). The site has many different wildlife habitats and is obviously managed with this as a priority.
Facilities were spotless.
