The pitch was good; level and not muddy, plenty of space with a water tap and electricity close by. The showers and toilets and hut for washing up were also within easy reach and kept clean.
It is a very peaceful site, surrounded by beautiful countryside,no sounds of traffic but only 10 minutes from Largs. The night skies are stunning .
Goats, sheep, hens and donkeys wander around the field, very friendly animals, and fresh eggs are available. The lady of the farm is very nice and helpful, has maps of the town and area if you need them.
There is a snack car with hot food and drinks which is open at the weekend.
For campers who want something different there are tipis and a hot tub.

A shame that the snack car is not open for longer at weekend or during the week.
I found the showers rather unsatisfactory, with a set temperature and timed tap which one constantly has to press.
Whilst it is nice to see the animals I am concerned that children are constantly stroking them, without any information about hygiene or hand gel. Sheep and goats do have ticks and fleas, ticks in particular can lead to Lymes disease. Campers should be made aware and be given information.
It would be helpful for the farm and campers if car registration numbers were taken.
A small playground would be nice for the children.

So welcoming and friendly throughout our four nights. Very relaxing stay, loved the free roaming donkeys, goats and chickens, also the other livestock in the fields and stables. Excellent breakfast roll options freshly cooked to order at the weekend. Just over two miles downhill into Largs, taxis are easily available. Some nice walks, lovely views from Knock Hill/Knock Fort. Excellent stay ,staff are so friendly and helpful ,facilities are clean and tidy ,fantastic view and great to have friendly goats,and donkeys ,roaming about will definitely be back.

Amazing camp..owners are excellent,always on hand to help or advise..great views..great walks..10mins drive into Largs..and the ferry to Milport
The showers and toilets are very well kept and immaculate..
Great snack bar on farm for dinners and breakfast and very reasonable..we will be back ..booked for one night and we ended up staying for four nights we enjoyed it so much.
Great for kids with all the kid friendly animals..top marks to the very busy family who run the place..

I loved every moment staying here . Ot was our first visit and definitely be back with our children. The experience of waking up to the farm animals at or tent was amazing and the animals allowing you to interact with them. The staff where so welcoming and the facilities where clean and staff where always checking they where . There is plenty staff for any type or caravan of your choice . Us ourselves are basic campers and loved tge fact other families camp over and joined in with us playing card games and outdoor games . And staying to talk over the campfire . Reminds me of my childhood and not needing any Morden technology to have a good time . We will be back soon

Absolutely nothing

Well laid out site with good facilities and clean toilet blocks.
Free roaming goats and donkeys were a highlight and our kids enjoyed seeing all the other animals too.

The food truck was reasonably priced (*CASH ONLY) and the food had been locally sourced.

The owner Katie was very welcoming to the site and also was very helpful the facilities were excellent. Great for the kids with the animals roaming around the campsite! Really enjoyed our overnight stay and will definitely be back very soon as it ticked all the boxes! One of the great things about the site was your allowed a camp fire at your tent! I would like to thank Katie for a great stay.

This was our 16th camping trip in 3 years and this campsite is up there with one of our favourites.
Loved the wholesome countryside feel with the donkeys, goats and chickens wandering freely and the fact no cars were on site so the children could explore without fear. The owners were lovely and so helpful and the facilities were lovely and clean.

Friendly atmosphere, able to wander round the farm and view the animals which the kids loved.

Check in was super easy and the staff members were lovely, food truck was amazing and really reasonably priced for both dinner and breakfast rolls. We would recommend.
Our daughter loved seeing the animals all wandering round the site, thank you for having us!
