First time staying at Sandparks and we were extremely impressed😊 last minute booking through' Pitch up' and a usual, no issues. Lovely welcome by the camps manager Shirley, she couldn't have been more helpful. No named plot, choose where you like. No issues finding a great spot with view of the sea. Amazing facilities and only 5 minutes walk to the beach, which was any surfer or bodyboarders dream. Nice big waves for us. Lots of similar minded people camping here, quiet after 1000. Mostly camper vans, and there were some amazing ones-some van envy🤣 breakfast treat at the Widemouth Bay cafe. Easy access to the coastal path. Will definitely come again. Thankyou.

Great location - so great to be next to the sea, a shop, AND a great pub. Would also say this site has the nicest showers/loos I’ve ever seen on a campsite, which makes a huge difference. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere in general was great. Will definitely visit again in the future!

Just be warned that it’s a pretty exposed location so the wind comes in pretty chilly! Definitely wrap up warm!

Absolutely perfect!! Noise control including dogs was perfect!!
Toilets/ showers were always lovely and clean to the highest standards, washing up area was always clean and also having an outdoor shower was great . I love the style of the toilets/ shower block, this has given me ideas for my house! The coffee man was super friendly as well. Cannot wait to return, also the staff were super friendly I will definitely be sharing your campsite on social networking. Thanks again .

A short walk from the beach. Fantastic location

It is very exposed, so wind can be an issue…

Brilliant location, across the road from the beach and nearby pubs/ cafes. After being welcomed in by Sue, it felt well organised with handouts of nearby attractions. The facilities were good. Showers/ toilets clean and basic. What I did like was their outdoor showers for sandy wetsuits etc.

For £30 per night I would have liked to have been able to use a hair dryer (even a cheap one) in the toilets. The showers were nice and warm however a couple more hooks or ledge to place shower bag on would have been very handy. Not the end of the world but an improvement for next time.

The campsite was clean, the shower/toilet block were also clean and clearly new. The campsite is very close to the beach, so no need to drive. Very helpful wardens.

It was generally quiet, most people settling down at 10pm.

I would definitively stay again.

It is petty... we were told that we could get wifi across the campsite which wasn't the case. I wasn't expecting wifi before we arrived, but could have been helpful.

I stayed for two nights with my dog in our campervan. What a fantastic site, across the road from Widemouth Bay. The facilities are superb, brand new toilets & showers, cleaned daily with extra outside showers by the washing up area. Loads of pitches, all with a great view of the beach. One great pub with a shop next door across the road, & another great pub beside the campsite. A mobile coffee & breakfast snack bar is available in the mornings, plus other cafes on the beach. The whole beach is dog friendly before 10 am, after that it's a 10 minute walk to the dog friendly area of the beach, from the campsite. It really is a fantastic beach too. A few miles from Bude, in one direction & about 12 miles from Tintagel in the other direction. The owners are very helpful & friendly. Myself & my dog Ted had a lovely weekend & will definitely visit again next year, for longer.

Washing and toilet facilities really clean, quiet and respectful site. Quite expensive.

Tried to book electric hook up but there were spaces during our stay.

The hosts Sue and Garry just wonderful.
The toilets / showers and washing up area is 10/10 and extremely clean.
Very relaxed atmosphere.
Really really enjoyed it and have booked to come back to get the last of summer.
